CSV Imports
CSV Imports
This video discusses the use of CSV imports to bulk upload data into the rumbla software platform.
-
CSV imports are available in various modules and submodules of rumbla to allow importing large amounts of data at once.
-
The CSV file format matches the fields available in the corresponding rumbla forms, including any custom fields that have been created.
-
CSV imports are designed for importing new data, not for updating existing data. Attempting to import a CSV file with duplicate records will result in those records being added again.
-
Strict adherence to the required CSV file format is necessary, including using the correct field names, data types, and separators. Errors in the CSV file will be identified during the import process.
-
The CSV import functionality in the compliance analysis section of rumbla can be used to update existing records, in contrast to the standard import-only behavior in other modules.
