Introduction to Third Parties

Quick introduction to the module key capabilities

Introduction

Third Parties refer to organizations that in one way or another collaborate with your organization, for example: suppliers, customers, etc. are considered Third Parties in eramba.

The Third Party module is linked with three other modules:

  • Online Assessments (OA): the link is optional and is used to associate a questionnaire. For example, "Privacy Assessment", with the supplier you are questioning.
  • Third Party Risks: Third Parties will serve as inputs to the Third Party Risk module as context to Risks. For example: "Theft at the office by cleaning staff working at night"
  • Data Flows: When data moves around it often times ends up in some other company's hands, in this case when a flow is created you can describe which Third Party is on the receiving end of that flow.

The associations above allow you to keep track of how things are going. For example, the screenshot below shows a list of Third Parties, the number of associated Risks, Liabilities and the status highlight issues with them.
